Aidan Simardone is a Canadian immigration lawyer based in Toronto. Before beginning his law practice, he worked at Matkowsky Immigration Law.

He is featured in a dozen publications, including Canadian Dimension, the Maple and Passage. Previously he worked at Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva and the Wilson Center in Washington D.C. 

A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, he was the recipient of three awards: the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto Prize, the Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP Prize, and the National Association of Japanese Canadians & Roger Sachio Obata C.M. Prize in International Human Rights Law. He also holds a Master of Global Affairs from the Munk School of Global Affairs and a Bachelor of Political Science, both of which he obtained from the University of Toronto.
